Yoichiro Koizumi (小泉陽一朗) is a core member of Too Kyo Games. He is the author of Ultra Despair Hagakure and scenario writer for Danganronpa Gaiden: Killer Killer, Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp,[citation needed] and Danganronpa 2x2.[2]
Biography[]
Koizumi graduated from Musashino Art University. In 2010, he starred in the independent film Good Morning to the World!! (2010), which won the Special Jury Prize at the 32nd Pia Film Festival's PFF Award. The film went on to receive the Dragons and Tigers Award for Young Cinema at the Vancouver International Film Festival.[3]
Koizumi received the "1st Star Seas Company FICTIONS New Talent Award," presented by the Star Seas Company to up-and-coming novelists. He debuted in 2011 with Break Kimi Core, and later that year published Junkgirl Dives to Night.[1][4]
In the Danganronpa series, he authored Ultra Despair Hagakure, and was a scenario writer for Danganronpa Gaiden: Killer Killer, Danganronpa S, and the upcoming remake of Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, Danganronpa 2x2. He also contributed to the scenarios of Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls, Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School, and Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony.[4][5]
