Megumi Ogata (緒方 恵美 Ogata Megumi) is a freelance Japanese voice actress and singer from the Greater Tokyo Area. As a singer, Ogata goes by the alias em:óu.
Ogata is best known for voicing Shinji Ikari from the Neon Genesis Evangelion series, Yugi Mutou and Dark Yugi in Yu-Gi-Oh!, Yukito Tsukishiro/Yue in Cardcaptor Sakura, and Ken Amada from the Persona 3 series.
In the Danganronpa franchise, Ogata is the Japanese voice of Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc protagonist Makoto Naegi and the Japanese voice of Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair tritagonist Nagito Komaeda. In the English dub, both are voiced by Bryce Papenbrook. Makoto is voiced by Philip Süß in the German dub of Danganronpa: The Animation.
Ogata also sang a number of songs within the Danganronpa franchise, including the ending themes for Danganronpa 1, Danganronpa 2 , Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls, and Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony.
