Makoto appeared as the Headmaster of Hope's Peak Academy in Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles Series. However, because he appeared in a Flashback Light sequence, it is unknown whether he and Hope's Peak Academy truly exist, because it was part of Team Danganronpa's fabrication.
