Before the execution, Komaru is picked up by Future Foundation members coming to save her, the "person of interest". As she enters their helicopter, one of the Future Foundation Members tries to enter after her, before a Beast Monokuma attacks him and Komaru pulls the door shut to stop it from entering. Komaru, believing she was safe and desperately wanting to get away from the Beast Monokuma, tells the helicopter driver to hurry up and fly off. However, it is revealed that the helicopter driver is actually a Monokuma Unit and it had already taken control of the helicopter, and started to fly it upwards into the sky, starting the execution.
Komaru is first shown banging her hands against the glass and then looking out nervously, desperately trying to get out as the helicopter continues to fly upwards. She starts to panic even more when she sees the Monokuma pointing forward and repeatedly swinging about the lever that controls the helicopter. The lever breaks and the Monokuma makes a guilty pose before laughing mischievously, and the helicopter starts to fall, with Komaru hangs on to the top of the door for dear life. The helicopter crashes into the street, and smoke is seen rising from the crash site.
Komaru survives and crawls out of the helicopter. Behind her, the burnt and heavily damaged helicopter explodes, causing it to burst into flames and injuring Komaru, who closes her eyes in the pain. When she opens them, a Monokuma Unit is standing directly in front of her. All of a sudden, she is surrounded by many Monokuma Units and looks around shocked at them. Komaru then passes out from her injuries as the Monokuma Units continue to drop down from the buildings and onto the buildings.
Komaru wakes up inside a strange room where she meets with the Servant, the person who says that he was the one who saved and brought her to the Warriors of Hope's Secret Base.
This is the first and only execution in the series to have completely failed with no outside interference. All others where the executed survives either have them successfully executed but still survive, or have the execution interrupted by someone else.
Yuta decides to swim out of Towa City after the Towa City Bridge is completely destroyed by the Monokuma Kids. Komaru Naegi and Toko Fukawa decide not to join him, but Komaru cheers him on while Toko is worried, getting a bad feeling about the bridge, and the executions starts.
Yuta jumps into the water, leaving Komaru and Toko on the side of the destroyed bridge and starts to swim quickly and spiritedly. Komaru supports him and cheers him on while Toko looks on with a worried gaze.
Suddenly, the Monokuma Bracelet on Yuta's hand starts to beep, while he looks at it shocked and curious, and it is shown glowing. However, immediately after this the Monokuma Bracelet explodes, killing Yuta instantly, making water splash on the other side of the bridge where it pours down like rain over Toko and Komaru, the latter looking on shocked and traumatized.
This is the only execution in Danganronpa Another Episode where the executed victim actually dies.
After Masaru loses to Komaru Naegi and Toko Fukawa, which causes his robot to explode in a fiery tornado, he is seen glaring and clutching his left arm. The Monokuma Kids get out the bleachers and appear behind him with the red part of their helmets (Representing Monokuma's evil side) glowing. Masaru's face turns blue, and the Monokuma Kids reach for him and pull him into the crowd. Multiple Monokuma Kids proceed to run forward with their hands outstretched. Masaru is pulled into the crowd, screaming, and with his hand outstretched to reach for help. His hand shakes a little before he vanishes into the crowd. His headphones then pop out of the crowd, flying into the air and landing where he was standing, with no trace of Masaru or the Monokuma Kids left. Komaru and Toko are left standing in shock of the execution.
Jataro's robot falls over after being defeated. It tries one last attack on Komaru Naegi and Toko Fukawa by firing a homing missile at them. However, because the robot is malfunctioning, the missile redirects itself, hitting the robot and causing an explosion. The next part of the scene is much like Masaru's execution where the Monokuma Kids appear and drag Jataro into the crowd faster.
Jataro's mask is ripped off, revealing an adorable face, contradicting what Jataro said earlier. Jataro attempts to run away (which is depicted in slow motion) before the Monokuma Kids pull him back in and beat him. His mask pops out and floats down in front of a shocked Komaru and Toko with no sign of Jataro or the Monokuma Kids.
No shrine is made for Jataro as Monaca Towa wasn't in the mood (however, she and Kotoko Utsugi reveal they just didn't like Jataro). Afterwards, Monaca and Kotoko refer to Jataro insultingly as Snake-chan.
As a beeping sound from a heart monitor is heard while Kotoko's robot clings to its chest with one of its hands as if it were suffering from a heart attack, while the other is raised to the air. As the beeping gets faster and faster, it eventually gets too fast and the robot explodes in a fountain of hearts in front of Kotoko. She is then shown crying, in fear of her inevitable execution, as the Monokuma Kids appear to execute her.
However, Genocide Jack jumps in front of Kotoko, separating her from the Monokuma Kids before pushing her off. Kotoko loses her balance and falls into the arena bouncing three times before landing in front of a shocked Komaru Naegi with her underwear showing.
After the battle with Komaru Naegi and Toko Fukawa, Nagisa's robot is badly damaged. However, Nagisa continues trying to move it, swinging the joysticks repeatedly and causing the robot's head to fall off. Then, the robot's fingers start bending up causing the robot's arm to break and fall off.
Meanwhile, Nagisa is completely unaware of what is happening because he is staring at the joysticks he is frantically swinging about before looking up and seeing the robot's arm and screaming moments before being crushed by the robot, where it finally explodes into a skull.
