Beginning of Killer Killer is the ninth chapter of the manga Danganronpa Gaiden: Killer Killer. Chapter 9 was published in Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine February 9, 2017, and later re-published in Danganronpa Gaiden: Killer Killer Volume 3 on May 9, 2017.
Summary[]
The chapter starts off with Takumi denying the request, stating that Ikusaba was long dead. He runs off but Asano manages to catch on his sleeve, wanting to confirm that if he really is Killer Killer. The scene skips to an abandoned building, in which the doors are opened to reveal the 8th branch security guards completely wiped out. A sudden appearance of Ikusaba startles the group, and as she comes closer is stopped by Takumi as he forces her to the ground, strangling her. He raises the knife to end her life but is stopped by Shuji, demanding that he stop killing. His demands go interrupted as they are surrounded by what seems like 'clones' of Ikusaba- A major group of girls who worshipped the former soldier dressed up as her. The group is then eliminated and Takumi then continues to fight off the remaining imposter, stating that their intent to kill and their skills are all a fake. He attempts to finish her off but the rest are shot by Asano with a muscle tranquilizer; Then finally being offed for good.
