Firework Lyrics is the fifth chapter of the manga Danganronpa Gaiden: Killer Killer. Chapter 5 was published in Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine on July 9, 2016, and later re-published in Danganronpa Gaiden: Killer Killer Volume 2 on November 9, 2016.

The chapter starts off with both Chikatilo and Sakakura facing off against each other in the area, with Asano being confused on which one was really disguised. The spectators are irate, now surrounding Sakakura as they don't want a rigged game. They are then knocked down and chaos ensures. A scene skips to Sakakura requesting the SHSL Make-Up Artist to 'create' a Naegi fake to use for the competition. The scene reverts back to the serial killing gambling ring, with Sakakura ordering his troops to seize anyone related to the match. The Pyrotechnicist fires off a firework, wanting to see Killer Killer emerge. He then disappears, wanting to challenge him elsewhere. A dead body drops, injuring Asano as she then looks up to see the Secretary of Defence hung. Asano attempts to locate Takumi but can't find him. The scene then changes to the top of an abandoned highrise, with Takumi and Kenji facing off. Takumi states that Kenji has killed the Secretary of Defence, in which he doubles over laughing, his basis wanting Sakakura and Munakata fired. He then lunges towards Takumi, tie in hand but is hung instead by being pushed off the building's edge. Chikatilo then appears, firing a firework into the sky.
