Beginning of Killer Killer is the thirteenth chapter of the manga Danganronpa Gaiden: Killer Killer. Chapter 13 was published in Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine February 9, 2017, and later re-published in Danganronpa Gaiden: Killer Killer Volume 3 on May 9, 2017.
Summary[]
The two enter their former classroom, now abandoned and in disarray. They hear a noise from a locker and Shuji emerges out, held at knifepoint and requested to unlock Asano's collar. He refuses, taking out a gun to shoot at the target before the hit being taken by Takumi, with Shuji being disappointed, wondering why he would protect her, wanting him to stop protecting her as he takes out his anger on the locker; Pushing a detonator to cause another explosion which sends Asano falling to the ground, caught by Dogami. The rest of the Foundation members try to break in as Asano attempts to go back in again. The scene then moves onto the focus of Shuji and Takumi, with Shuji wanting to regroup with his friend again, thinking that if he joined forces then they'd be unstoppable. He continues to talk but Takumi's ramblings of his murder intent drowns him out. They then draw their weapons and duel, with Takumi being brought to his knees. With a final trick up his sleeve, he impales himself, the spear going through Shuji as well.
