The Age You Wanna Paint it Black and White[]
- The Age You Wanna Paint it Black and White by Secco (Pages 007 - 014)
- The story opens with a Monokuma Theatre, explaining that he is afraid of being attacked because his black side tastes like chocolate and his white side tastes like milk.
- Makoto walks into an open dorm room to find Sayaka standing over Yasuhiro. Her hands and Yasuhiro's head are covered in a dark substance. Makoto screams in fear, summoning the rest of the class. However, Sayaka reveals that it's only chocolate, which came out of Yasuhiro's shower. Kyoko points out that Mondo's hair looks like it has been coated in chocolate as well. Aoi arrives to the room next, and her skin has been darkened by chocolate put into the swimming pool. Sakura reveals that her protein powder was replaced with chocolate, and Hifumi presents a chocolate Princess Piggles.
- As the day continues, everyone else encounters chocolate in some form or another: Mukuro is almost stabbed by giant pocky, Celestia finds chocolate in her tea, and Byakuya receives a gift of chocolates. Kyoko notices that Makoto seems upset, and he admits that he's the only one that didn't find any chocolate. Monokuma appears and explains that he decided to make today "Valentine's Day". Everyone decides to ignore him and forget all about the chocolate, which devastates Monokuma.
- Makoto returns to his dorm room, and searches for chocolates to no avail. Kyoko enters and reminds him that everything was set up by Monokuma so he has nothing to feel bad about. Makoto replies that a guy like him will always be excited by chocolate. Kyoko smiles fondly at him, then tells him everyone decided to make chocolate. He follows Kyoko to the cafeteria, and discovers that the rest of the students have made a chocolate Monokuma. Cheerfully, they smash it open while the real Monokuma looks on in shock.

Tea Contest[]
- Tea Contest by Ryuuko Kanzaki (Pages 015 - 022)
Celestia goes to make a cup of tea before bed, only to discover that Byakuya has taken the rest of it. She demands that he hand it over as she cannot sleep without it, but Byakuya refuses. Celestia suggests they engage in a competition using their "servants". Celestia decides that Hifumi is too easily excitable, and so she'll need a new servant. Byakuya decides that Toko is too much of a risk, as he doesn't know when she'll change to Genocide Jack or vice versa. In the end, both decide to try and recruit Makoto for their game.
Byakuya approaches Makoto first, offering him his credit card for use on the Monomono machine. When Makoto points out that it only takes coins, Byakuya becomes incensed. Celestia offers next, telling Makoto that he can "do as he likes" with her. However, this is revealed to be part of a doujinshi that Hifumi wrote, which is the real reward that Celestia is offering. Makoto refuses to help either Byakuya or Celestia, causing the two to break out into an argument over him. Just then, Monokuma appears on the school monitors and says that the warehouse stock has been replenished.
Celestia and Byakuya quickly drop the argument and walk away without another word to the warehouse. Makoto laments his "good luck" talent, but Kyoko points out that his luck may have actually worked in his favour this time.

The 16th Suspect[]
- The 16th Suspect by Lala (Pages 023 - 034)
Mukuro wakes up in the middle of the night craving a snack. She decides its late enough to leave her room without putting on her Junko disguise, but runs into Kiyotaka on her way to the warehouse. Mukuro panics, and knocks him unconscious.
The next morning, Kiyotaka calls everyone to a mandatory meeting. He describes the unfamiliar woman he saw the previous night, and suggests that she may be the mastermind behind the Killing School Life. Kiyotaka asks that they all help him find this woman, but Celestia butts in to say that she doesn't believe the woman actually exists. Other students begin to side with her, telling Kiyotaka that they need to focus on creating Monokuma's back-up units. Kiyotaka and Mukuro head to the garden to collect materials. While there, Mukuro asks if Kiyotaka saw the woman's face so she can determine the gravity of her mistake. However, Kiyotaka mistakes this as Mukuro wanting to help him capture the woman. He begs her to join him on a stake-out that evening, and Mukuro relents.
They gather by the warehouse that evening and discuss the woman. Mukuro reminds Kiyotaka that she might not be the mastermind at all, in which case Kiyotaka demands they must rescue her from the mastermind's clutches. As they sit and wait, Kiyotaka thanks Mukuro for joining him. Mukuro says something like this wouldn't have happened "back then", referring to her going out without her wig. However, Kiyotaka thinks she is speaking about believing him. He reminds Mukuro that change is a good thing, and that she is growing as a person.
Just then, Kiyotaka spots what he believes to be the mystery woman. However, it is revealed to be Celestia without her twintail wig. Realizing he has made a mistake, Kiyotaka apologizes profusely to both Celestia and Mukuro. In the end, Mukuro receives Kiyotaka's favorite briefs.

The Color of Dreams in Poetic Words[]
- The Color of Dreams in Poetic Words by Leo Horiguchi (Pages 035 - 042)
Makoto and Sayaka are talking one day when she mentions how she "dirtied her hands" to become an idol. As the only person without an Ultimate Talent, Makoto realizes that he doesn't understand how that feels. He approaches other students to hear the ways in which they have faced hardships with their talents. When he approaches Yasuhiro, he admits to telling a manager of an idol company to let their idols use as many dirty tactics as they could to stay on top.
Makoto realizes that this was likely told to Sayaka's manager, forcing her to dirty her hands. He panics, believing that if Sayaka finds out that she will kill Yasuhiro. He tries to warn Yasuhiro, but he gets the wrong idea and thinks that telling Sayaka will cause them to fall in love. Makoto chases after Yasuhiro and knocks him unconscious before he can say anything. He begins screaming to Sayaka that everything is okay, and that he'll protect her so she doesn't have to dirty her hands anymore.
In the end, the knock to the head causes Yasuhiro to lose memories of his past, and Sayaka refuses to come too close to Makoto ever again.

Good Night![]
- Good Night! by Nako Shirataki (Pages 043 - 054)
Makoto is walking down the hallway when he hears someone sneeze. He finds Genocide Jack, and realizes that she is sick. He grabs her hand and tries to take her back to her dorm room to recover. However, she sneezes again and transitions back to Toko. Toko is appalled to see Makoto holding her hand, and runs off while she calls him "dirty". The pair run into Sakura, and Toko is accidentally knocked unconscious. Sakura suggests that Toko should take some protein, and forcefully shoves her drink down Toko's throat.
Toko wakes back up, and Makoto again suggests that they head back to her room. Toko, however, envisions this as Makoto trying to make a romantic move on her. She again runs off, and Sakura and Makoto chase after her. They discover that Toko has switched back to Jack, and has cut all of Yaushiro's clothes off. Using this idea as inspiration, Makoto and Sakura devise a plan to trap Toko. They bind Byakuya, and use him as bait to attract Toko. When Toko hears Byakuya's voice, she comes running. Makoto takes the opportunity to grab Toko and wrap her in a blanket.
She demands to know why Makoto has been acting so dirty around her all day, but Sakura explains that he was only looking out for her. Makoto and Sakura offer to look over her while she rests up and heals from her illness, which causes Toko to foam at the mouth with excitement and pass out. Makoto and Sakura promise that they won't leave her alone, and carry her back to her dorm room.
Later, Makoto sneezes. Sakura asks if he caught Toko's illness, but he responds that it must be something else. Meanwhile Byakuya, still bound from earlier, calls out for Makoto to come untie him.

Smiles of the Future[]
- Smiles of the Future by Rumi Kawashima (Pages 055 - 062)
Leon, Chihiro, and Makoto are assigned to clean the art storeroom, where Chihiro discovers the photograph of him, Leon, and Mondo from their Hope's Peak days. They present it to Monokuma and demand an explanation. Monokuma panics, and tells them that it's an image of their future. Chihiro believes him right away, and is excited at the prospect of becoming good friends with Leon and Mondo. However, Leon and Mondo end up at each other's throats, and declare that they would never become friends with each other.
Kyoko takes the photograph and says that she intends to look into the matter further. Monokuma, afraid that the truth will be revealed, decides to get Leon, Chihiro, and Mondo out of the way. He pulls Chihiro aside and tells him that if he cleans the fifth floor classroom with Leon and Mondo, then the three of them will become best friends. Excited, Chihiro encourages the two boys to join him. When they reach the classroom, Monokuma reveals that he hid a bomb in there. He says that he intends to bring the three of them together as friends in the afterlife.
The bomb soon half-detonates, leaving a gaping hole in the floor. Chihiro and Leon fall in, but Mondo catches Leon's jacket and Leon grabs Chihiro's hand. Mondo pulls them up to safety as Monokuma laments his plan's failures. The other students, having heard the noise, come running up to the classroom. They open the door, and are surprised to find that Leon, Chihiro, and Mondo are all laughing together. Chihiro asks Monokuma if this was his plan all along, and he decides to go along with it. Kyoko surmises that, even if the photo wasn't really from the future, it had come true after all.

Buried Manuscript Treasure?![]
- Buried Manuscript Treasure?! by Tsubamemaru Watarizora (Pages 063 - 075)
Makoto and Aoi are searching for materials in the art room when Makoto stumbles upon a manga manuscript. Hearing the word "manga" summons Hifumi to the scene, as he hasn't been able to find any manga, light novels, or anime anywhere within the school. As the Ultimate Doujin author, Hifumi demands to read it first. He looks through the pages, remarking on how much he enjoys the art style. After a while, though, he begins to wonder if the art style is actually his own. Hifumi admits that he's had original ideas before, but has never made one. He also says that he has no memory of drawing this. Makoto suggests that someone may have been inspired by his work and drew inspiration from his style, but Hifumi notes that the work is technically superior to his own. He tries to destroy the work, so that others don't think he's a copycat.
Instead, Makoto and Aoi convince him to make his own original manga. Hifumi agrees, wanting to prove his worth. Makoto suggests that Hifumi take a break, and offers to assist him in anyway he can. Hifumi takes Makoto up on his offer by having him dress in a maid costume to help promote Hifumi's newly finished manga to the students of Hope's Peak. Kyoko tries to reassure Makoto about his outfit, but he doesn't take it well. Meanwhile, Yasuhiro begins to read the manga. He also notices similarities, and suggests that it's much like a manga he found a few days prior in the A/V room.
A group heads to Yasuhiro's dorm room to check out the manga. They examine the manuscript, which follows the same plot and the same art style as the original manga Hifumi just finished. Hifumi is outraged, and insists that someone must have plagiarized him. Aoi suggests that maybe Hifumi drew the manga Yasuhiro found and simply forgot about it, but Hifumi demands that he could never have drawn something like that and runs out of the room in tears.
Makoto follows him back to the art room. There, Hifumi admits that the work couldn't have been done by him not because of the plot or the art style, but because he can tell that the story was written by someone who had influence from their dear friends. He says that his only friends are fictional characters, so he couldn't have written this. Before Makoto can respond, Leon, Mondo, and Sayaka burst into the room asking if Hifumi has written anymore. Mukuro and Kiyotaka soon join them as well, declaring (in their own ways) how much they loved the manga. Hifumi is rejuvenated by his classmates' interests, and asserts that he will make the best entertainment possible for them to enjoy.

The SHSL Gamer and Mechanic's Chance Meeting[]
- The SHSL Gamer and Mechanic's Chance Meeting by Suzuka (Pages 079 - 086)
Chiaki stays up all night to finish playing her video game. She decides to head to the island's electronics store to find a new game, but bumps into Kazuichi outside. He's running late for cleaning duty, and accidentally breaks Chiaki's game console. She tries to brush it off and say that it's fine, but Kazuichi realizes how much gaming means to her. Chiaki explains that she had 500 hours on her game, and that every second she isn't cleaning or collecting materials she locks herself up in her cabin to game. He offers to make it up to Chiaki by building an HD TV and setting it up in the restaurant. Chiaki is unimpressed, until Kazuichi shows her the gaming console that he modded to be able to play games from any console.
Chiaki's enthusiasm quickly grows, and she thanks Kazuichi for the present. Kazuichi replies that she hasn't even seen the real present yet. They begin to play together, and their excited yelling draws the attention of Hajime and Ibuki. Hajime asks if they can join in, and Kazuichi offers them each a controller. Soon, other classmates make their way to the restaurant to join in on the fun. As everything turns into somewhat of a party, Kazuichi pulls Chiaki aside and explains that as a mechanic he knows what it's like to spend a lot of time on his own. However, he wants Chiaki to experience gaming with friends. Chiaki smiles and thanks Kazuichi for the "best present ever", but Kazuichi ruins the mood by asking what game would help him score with Sonia.

Jabberwock 24 Hour Hospital[]
- Jabberwock 24 Hour Hospital by Hako Itagaki (Pages 087 - 098)
Nekomaru and Nagito are in the hospital for expending too much energy while collecting items for Monomi. They both begin to lament about the negatives of being in the hospital, which causes Nekomaru to realize that Nagito has spent time in hospitals in the past. Nagito admits that he frequented hospitals due to his bad luck. Nekomaru then tells Nagito about his childhood heart disease, the time he spent in the hospital, and his friend that inevitably encouraged him to become a Team Manager. Nagito compares himself to Nekomaru's childhood friend, then backtracks and says he couldn't imagine anyone as amazing as Nekomaru wanting to be his friend. Nekomaru, confused, replies that they're already friends.
Terutetru arrives then, explaining that he's come to help nurse them back to health. He heads to the hospital's kitchen to cook them some food, and Nekomaru and Nagito follow the good smell. However, when they reach the kitchen they see Teruteru cooking in a menacing way; Nagito even compares it to how they'd imagine Gundham would cook. Nagito recalls that Hajime told him about a time that Teruteru slipped drugs into his food. Nagito and Nekomaru begin to worry that Teruteru is planning to drug them and take advantage of them while they are ill.
Teruteru spots the the two in the doorway to the kitchen, and approaches them. Nekomaru panics and says that they're not hungry, but Teruteru demands that they have to eat his food to help themselves heal. They attempt to run away, but only make it three steps before collapsing. Nekomaru uses the last of his strength to push Nagito towards the door. He tells him to run, reminding him that they're "hospital pals". Nagito then uses the last of his strength to stand between Nekomaru and Teruteru. He offers to sacrifice himself because Nekomaru called him a friend, but gets a faceful of Teruteru's food before he can finish speaking. Nekomaru calls out for his friend, but Nagito replies that the food taste normal. Teruteru explains that he looked so menacing because he was putting so much pressure on himself to make good food so that they'd both get better soon.
After being released from the hospital, Hajime discovers that Teruteru's food has made Nekomaru and Nagito jacked. The effects of the food send them back to the hospital until they return to their normal selves.

Mikan thinks that Sonia has been paying extra attention to her lately, and wonders if she did something to upset Sonia. She then sees Sonia talking to Hiyoko, and begins to fear that they're gossiping about her. Mikan decides to try and appease Sonia by offering her a bottle of milk. Mikan expects Sonia to throw it at her, but Sonia simply drinks it in one gulp. Confused, Mikan next offers Sonia a bucket of dirty mop water, scissors to cut her hair, and a chance to step on her.
Mikan turns to Hajime for advice, asking if she's too worthless to even be bullied. Hajime says that he doesn't think Sonia is like that, and suggests that maybe Sonia just wants to be friends. Suddenly, Sonia arrives with Hiyoko. She explains that she wants Mikan to wear one of Hiyoko's kimonos; her dark hair and big eyes make her look like a human-size Japanese doll. Mikan, realizing that Sonia needs her, quickly agrees to be her doll.
