Yuzen Minase (水無瀬 有全 Minase Yūzen) is a character featured in Danganronpa Kirigiri.
The descendant of an alleged wealthy noble family, he is a freelancer from a humble upbringing striving to make himself a name. Aside from doing part-time job and receiving an allowance, he also earns money by selling things online.
Appearance[]
Yuzen is a young man with blue eyes and blond hair that is painstakingly combed backward, with only a single lock hanging on the front. He wears a black suit with a white dress shirt and a red bow tie.
Personality[]
Yuzen is extremely proud of his noble blood. He is polite and very curious, as shown by him constantly asking questions. He appears to be much more social than most of the others, but he is also quite impatient.
History[]
Yuzen is among one of the last to be murdered by Suisei Nanamura. Yui Samidare and Kyoko Kirigiri find him in a pool of blood across from Suisei, with his face being shot. Later, his lifeless body is shot again by Suisei to waste one of his last three bullets.
Relationships[]
Suisei Nanamura[]
After he learned that Suisei is gay and very rich, Yuzen seemed to contemplate getting closer with him in order to benefit from his wealth, but he shuts up and claimed he was just joking when Yui Samidare gave him a glare. When Yui attempted to make a deal with Suisei and said he can spend a night with Yuzen in exchange, Yuzen lashed out and angrily asked what is she saying. However, after Suisei said he's not his type, Yuzen appeared a bit disappointed and not just relieved much to his own surprise, and he sat down tiredly while wondering "what is this feeling".
Later, when Suisei attempted to murder everyone, he shot Yuzen's body again after he was already dead.
Trivia[]
- "Yuzen (有全) means "to have everything", referring to his aspiration to become as known and wealthy as his ancestors.
- His last name, "Minase" (水無瀬), means "waterless current" - matching how, according to him, his family used to be nobility and owned many lands but now only owns a rundown condo.
